What is SGS Fitness?
SGS FITNESS is a Canadian registered charity with the purpose of establishing and maintaining a scholarship program to generate interest among individuals in furthering academic studies; and to promote opportunities within exercise or nutritional fields in order to encourage individuals to pursue healthier lifestyles.

- Environment: Is creating an open and eco-friendly atmosphere to encourage diversity, innovation, honesty and learning.
Strategies (2012-2017)
- Increase enrollment and participation among youth for exercise and nutrition related programming.
- Encourage investment from the private sector to support the development and maintenance of an active and healthy lifestyle among youth.
- Foster awareness among youth of related exercise and nutrition services, programs and opportunities.
- Provide media exposure for careers in the fields of exercise or nutrition
- Promote peer participation activities to promote exercise and nutrition.
Purposes and Activities
- To advance education by establishing and maintaining a scholarship program to generate youth interest in pursuing required academic studies in order to encourage them to pursue careers in the fields of exercise and nutrition.
- Scholarships will be distributed for academic studies related to the fields of exercise and nutrition at a post-secondary institution.
- To educate the public about youth health issues through workshops and seminars.
- All our charitable conventions, seminars and workshops are FREE and open to the general public.
- To advance education by operating a yearly convention to create awareness regarding youth health issues.
The convention will feature short seminars from academic, athletic, scientific and professional organizations regarding topics such as the importance of pursuing higher education, the benefits of exercise and nutrition as well as distribution of scholarships.
